Jay Bhatt

Jay Bhatt is the CEO and board member of M-Files. He was previously CEO and board member of Alfresco Software, Blackboard Inc., Progress Software Corporation (PRGS:NASDAQ), and led the Architecture, Engineering, & Construction Division at Autodesk (ADSK:NASDAQ). Additionally, Jay is the founder of investment firm CrossParadigm Capital, and also served as a managing director and partner at Thomas H. Lee Partners, a private equity investment firm where he co-led technology and software investing. Earlier in his career Jay was a transaction attorney and an investment banker. Jay is a board member at a nonprofit called Cradles to Crayons, which provides resources such as school supplies and clothing to homeless and low-income children. Jay holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
