Creating a Login Account for Publishing

First, create a login account that will be used to automatically log in to a specific vault:

  1. Open M-Files Admin on the M-Files server used for publishing.
  2. In the left-side tree view, expand a connection to M-Files server.
  3. Click Login Accounts.
  4. In the task area, click New Login Account.
    Result:The New Login Account dialog is opened.
  5. In Username, enter a username.
    For example, Publishing.
  6. In Authentication, select M-Files authentication
  7. In Password, enter a password.
  8. In Confirm password, enter the same password.
  9. In License type, select a license.

  10. Click OK.
The created login account is added to the Login Accounts list.
