Creating Document Collections

To create a document collection:

  1. In M-Files, click the Create button.
  2. Select Document collection.
    If this object type is not shown in the context menu, click an empty area in the listing area and select Create > Document collection.
    Result:The New - Document Collection dialog is opened.
  3. Select a class and click Next.
  4. Optional: Select a template.
  5. Fill in the necessary metadata.
  6. Click Create.
The document collection is created. Next, you can add document collection members.
